Zechariah 10, Psalms 146:1-10

What God said to me – How many stars are there?  Do you know?  Can you count them?  You can’t even see them all even with the most advanced technology.  I know the number of stars – I’ve counted them – I created them – I named each one of them.  You in your humanness cannot even fathom the vastness of it all or the power and ability it took to create it all and to hold it together.  Think about that – meditate on that you’ll begin to worship as you see My greatness and glory.  And yet in the midst of all of this vast creation, there is you, small and seemingly insignificant in the midst of it all.  You who I chose.  You who I love.  You who I disclose Myself to.  You who are so important to Me that I dwell within you and direct each step you take.  Think about that – meditate on that and you’ll begin to worship.

What God said to me – I know you long for the day of the Lord.  You anxiously read and study everything that says “in that day” and try to imagine what it will be like.  It will be a great day, a unique day like no other.  Yet today is also a unique day – it is the only one like it.  Don’t look past today while yearning for another.  This is the day that I have made – rejoice and be glad in it.  Savor today.  Look eagerly for what I have for you to do today.  Listen with anticipation to what I have to say to you today.  Don’t miss the ministry and joy I have for you today by dwelling so much on “that day”.  “That day” will come.  It is My plan.  It is also My plan for you to live today fully.

Zechariah 8, Revelation 16, Psalms 144:1-15, Proverbs 30:29-31

What God said to me – Like jewels in My crown, that is how I think of you . . . beautiful . . . valuable.  Walk with Me.  Live for Me and you will sparkle throughout the land for I will shine through you.  When you live in that way, people see you and know that “I AM”.  Your life should always be a reflection of My glory.  When you spend time with Me and devote yourself to My word, I fill you up without you even realizing it.  Remember how Moses’ face glowed when he came down from the mountain after spending time with Me?  The more time you devote to Me in prayer and study, and seeking My face and in obedience, the more others will see My reflection in you.  Let Me fill you so others can see My glory.
