What God said to me – My words are faithful and true.  “I AM” the word.  I cannot say it enough – if you truly want to know Me, you must know My word because knowing it and knowing Me are intertwined.  You cannot know one without knowing the other for We are the same.  When life is busy and you have so much on your plate you don’t even know where to start, STOP, and turn to My word, turn to Me. You may think you don’t have the time, that you need to get going, but “I AM” telling you that you can’t afford not to stop and spend time with Me.  My words are faithful and true, and I will help you sort the temporal from the eternal and to see what is important and necessary.  “I AM” the word.  Stop and listen.  Stop and fellowship.  Stop and be transformed.

What God said to me – I the Lord do not change.  “I AM” the same yesterday, today, and forever.  “I AM” a covenant keeping God and “I AM” in covenant with you.  Walk with Me and let Me teach you what that means to you.  “I AM” your protector and defender, your shield and your fortress and you are My treasured possession.  I take such delight in talking with you and teaching you and in showing Myself to you.  I know that you can’t truly understand what that means, but I want you to know it and trust that it’s true.  There is coming a day when you will see Me face to face, but until that day comes, walk with me, delight in Me, and know that I delight in you.  You are My treasured possession.

Zechariah 14, Revelation 20, Psalms 148:1-4, Proverbs 31:8-9

What God said to me – There is a day of rest coming for my people when I will reign, and the enemy will be bound.  I know you long for that day, especially when you are tired or overwhelmed or frightened.  In that day I will reign over the whole world and there will be peace.  But what you must realize is that while the whole world is not submitting to My reign today, I do reign in your heart.  Even though storms may be raging all about you, you can know My peace even now.  Don’t focus on the turmoil and uncertainty – focus on Me.  My peace will continually fill you as you acknowledge My rule in your life and you trust that “I AM” in control.  Keep your eyes on Me and I will fill you with My peace.
