Habakkuk 1-3, Zephaniah 1-3

What God said to me – Like Habakkuk you ask – why do I make you see iniquity and cause you to look at wickedness?  You see destruction and violence before you and strife and contention arise.  The law is ignored and justice is never upheld.  The wicked surround the righteous and justice is perverted.  As troubling as all of this is to you – rejoice!  Look around and observe!  Be astonished and filled with wonder because “I AM” doing something in your days.  You would not believe it if you were told.  You have an upfront seat to see Me at work.  Watch as I draw to Myself all who are Mine and judge those who refuse Me. Wait for Me and watch as I rise up as a witness to My holiness – to My righteousness – to My sovereignty.

Nahum 1-3

What God said to me – Who can endure My indignation or stand before My anger when My patience comes to an end and judgment falls?  No one can stand before My wrath when it is poured out, but to those who know Me, I will be a stronghold.  I know those who take refuge in Me and I reveal Myself to those who seek me.  Even in the midst of all the chaos of the world, you can have peace and you can share the source of that peace with those I bring to you.  Most of the world will not listen and their response will be disbelief, but there will be a few who long for the peace they see in you and who will respond to the good news you share.  Don’t be discouraged.  “I AM” still in control.

Micah 1-7

What God said to me – Though there is darkness all about, “I AM” your light in the midst of it.  Just as your eyes are drawn to a light in the darkness, let your eyes be drawn to Me in the darkness and chaos of the world.  You must trust that there is coming a day when I will plead your case and execute justice for you.  I will bring you into the light forever and you will see My righteousness.  Know that as you wait for Me and cry out to Me that I will hear you.  You walk with me and focus on Me and go where I lead and obey as I direct and I will glorify Myself through you.  People all around you are confused and afraid.  I will use you to bring comfort to them.  I will bring them to you.  You be faithful to share.
