Matthew 5-6

What God said to me – Don’t seek things – seek Me.  Don’t worry about things – seek Me.  “I AM” always the answer to whatever you face so seek Me.  Let Me be the focus of what you say and do.  This is what this lifelong conversation and relationship is about.  Include Me in everything – when you’re working – when you’re playing – when you’re ministering – when you’re resting.  Hang with Me – talk to Me like you would a friend for that is what “I AM”.  Seek Me first.  Let Me walk with you and guide your words and steps and responses.  You’ll find our relationship becoming more and more intimate without trying – without going through the motions.

Matthew 1-4

What God said to me – How quickly do you respond to My voice? My instructions? Look at Joseph – he immediately took Mary as his wife when I told him to – he immediately took his family and left for Egypt when I told him to go. Look at John the Baptist – he immediately baptized Jesus when I told him to. Look at Peter and Andrew and James and John – they immediately left their nets when I called them. Each one of these, by their obedience and immediate response changed the world and were used to accomplish My purpose and carry out My plan. Don’t think your obedience and response means any less. I accomplish My purpose and carry out My plan by things and people you would never imagine. You as My child and a part of My body are an integral part of it and your obedience and responses are more important than you know or see.
