Proverbs 7-9

What God said to me – People in general are foolish.  They have no understanding of Me and My ways and they have no desire to know.  Did you know that wisdom is one of the few things I always give to those who ask Me – to those who truly desire wisdom.  And yet people in general are still foolish.  What does that tell you?  What about you?  Do you seek Me continually and ask for wisdom or do you foolishly go your own way thinking you know – thinking you can handle it?  If you desire wisdom, you must start with Me for My word says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.  To know Me – to walk with Me is the beginning of wisdom.  “I AM” generous to give wisdom to all who seek it.  Become a seeker of wisdom.

Proverbs 4-6

What God said to me – There are difficulties that come into your  life that I bring you to and through to grow you and to teach you and to discipline you and to disciple you and there are difficulties that come into your life that are your own doing – because of rebellion and disobedience.  So when you encounter trials first and foremost, come to Me.  That is always the first step even when the trials are the consequences of your own sin and disobedience.  When you come to Me in repentance, crying out for forgiveness – I always forgive and restore.  You may still suffer the consequences of your sin, but I will be with you through them, using them to discipline and disciple you.  When you encounter difficulties when you are walking in faithfulness, you must trust that I have a purpose in them and will use them for your good and My glory.

Proverbs 1-3

What God said to me – My word says that if you trust Me with all of your heart and acknowledge Me that I will make your paths straight. This doesn’t mean you will never see trouble. Sometimes My path leads straight into trouble. This is also why it says not to lean on your own understanding because you won’t get it. You rarely understand that difficulty also comes from Me because your heart and the world tells you that if I loved you then nothing bad would ever happen to you. This is why you must not lean on your own understanding but put your trust in Me to direct your path. Your confidence is to be in Me to work all things for good and to use these difficulties for your best. Your confidence and faith in Me will not be in vain for I will always be with you and in you working for your good and My glory.
