Proverbs 24-26

What God said to me – Spiritual things are spiritually discerned but there are deep truths that are not obvious even to My own children.  If you want to know deep truths and understand the mysteries of the faith, then you must search.  You must dedicate yourself to spend time in My word, studying, and crying out to Me to reveal Myself to you.  “I AM” your teacher and I will show you these things as you devote your time and energy to seeking them – to seeking Me.  Most of My children are lazy, or distracted, or not interested in learning My word because it takes time and energy and focus.  You must make a determination to dedicate yourself if you truly want to know Me and understand My word.

Proverbs 22-23

What God said to me – Where is your trust?  As you look around at the world today, your trust had better be in Me because everything else is fleeting.  Even people you were sure were dependable are no longer steadfast.  You must keep your eyes fixed on Me – the author and finisher of your faith.  People can fail you.  Governments can fail you.  Wealth can fail you.  Your health can fail you.  It is all a house of cards ready to come tumbling down with the slightest shakeup.  I alone am steadfast and sure.  Even when things are crumbling round you, you can trust that “I AM” and I will carry out My plan for you and glorify Myself in the process.

Proverbs 19-21

What God said to me – The king’s heart is like channels of water in My hand – I turn it wherever I wish.  Remember this truth as you listen to the news and hear all the ungodly proclamations from world leaders and see the things they are doing.  Know that “I AM” in control of it and that I use even the most ungodly people and things to carry out My plan.  Don’t focus on them – focus on Me.  Stay close, ever seeking Me.  Be watchful and you will see Me at work in the midst of the chaos and disaster.  I will show Myself to you.  Walk in righteousness and stand strong no matter what is happening around you and one day you will hear “well done My good and faithful servant.”
