Ecclesiastes 1-4

What God said to me – There is an appointed time for everything whether it is day to day, season to season, birth to death, beginning to end – I have a plan that “I AM” carrying out in the world and in your life.  “I AM” sovereign and I do not change.  I have set eternity in the hearts of men and whether they realize it or not or whether they acknowledge it or not, eternity is what matters.  Whether you are restless and dissatisfied or content and at peace is determined by eternal choices and the life you live day by day is a reflection of those choices.  Peace and contentment result when you walk and act from an eternal perspective and restlessness and dissatisfaction when you don’t.  Choose each day to focus on the eternal and not on the temporal – choose each day to focus on Me.

Proverbs 30-31

What God said to me – The world is in a state of chaos and confusion. Just as spiritual things are spiritually discerned and the world cannot understand Me or My ways, you have come to the place after walking with me for so long that you cannot understand the evil going on around you or know the depths of perversion the world is sinking to. That’s a good thing, but I know it can be frightening for you as you see the world descending into total darkness. Don’t be afraid because “I AM” with you and am carrying out My plan. Your part is to walk even closer to Me and to pray without ceasing. There are a few who can still be reached so be alert and faithful to share when I bring them to you. It’s time to choose sides and to stand firm.

Proverbs 27-29

What God said to me – When a society reaches the point that is has no desire for and no respect for My word or for Me, the people are unrestrained and sin abounds.  In these last days you are seeing this more and more.  Violence and depravity abound and are getting worse.  I know you feel it and see things seeming to snowball.  Don’t be afraid for “I AM” in control.  You must devote yourself even more to My word and prayer.  Know that “I AM” using you – your influence and your faithfulness as a restraint and as a witness.  The time is soon coming when I will judge the world.  You, My faithful servant, must remain steadfast and watchful, warning them of what is to come.
