Isaiah 9-12

What God said to me – When a nation falls away from Me and My judgment falls on them, no amount of national pride will restore it to its lost glory and prosperity.  If that nation is to be restored it will not be because of national pride, but national humility.  National humility which is demonstrated by its people falling on their faces and crying out to Me.  National humility which is demonstrated by its people falling on their faces and confessing their sin.  National humility which is demonstrated by its people falling on their faces and begging Me to heal their land.  National humility which is demonstrated by its people falling on their faces and acknowledging Me as their God, their King, their Savior.  If this is ever to happen it must start with My people who are willing to stand in the gap and pray.

Isaiah 5-8

What God said to me – You live in a day where evil is called good and good is called evil – where darkness is substituted for light and light for darkness – where the wicked are justified and those who are right have no rights.  But do not fear for “I AM” still on My throne and “I AM” still in control.  When I asked Isaiah “whom shall I send” it was to warn them of the coming judgment.  I ask you the same question – “whom shall I send” – will you answer as Isaiah and say “here am I, send me”?  Are you willing to stand in the gap and pray?  Are you willing to be a faithful watchman on the wall and warn of the impending judgment?  Are you willing to separate yourself and not walk in the way of this ungodly generation?  It is not an easy thing that I ask but “I AM” holy and I will be your sanctuary.

Isaiah 1-4

What God said to me – My heart is broken because of My children who have turned away.  They still go through the motions – they still talk a good game and can justify their sin to themselves, but they are far from Me.  It’s easier and more comfortable to conform to the world – to fit in and be accepted.  As the world gets more perverse and corrupt, the harder it will be for you to stand – to remain faithful – to not waver.  You cannot do it apart from Me.  You cannot do it apart from My word.  You must be even more diligent to spend time in My word seeking Me and guarding your heart and mind.  Don’t grow weary in doing good because the time is growing short.  Those who don’t know Me will be judged at My coming.  Those who know Mw but have fallen away will be ashamed at My coming.  But to you who have remained faithful I will say “well done, enter into My rest.”
