Isaiah 36-39

What God said to me – “I AM” the one true God.  The world does not know Me or understand Me.  They have no idea that I have a plan that “I AM” carrying out and they are a part of that plan.  Whether they acknowledge Me or not, I use them to accomplish My purposes.  You also have a part in My plan.  You can choose to walk apart from Me, going your own way and depending on yourself and being blind to all “I AM” doing around you to carry out My plans – or you can walk with Me, seeking Me, studying My word and letting Me reveal Myself to you.  I will open your eyes so you can see Me at work and show you how you can participate in that work.  You can be a willing instrument in My hands and a participant in My work or you can walk in ignorance and darkness, hoping for the best, but fearing the worst.

Isaiah 31-35

What God said to me – There is an unsettled feeling settling over the world. People are growing anxious. They seem to sense things are coming to a head – that things cannot go on the way they are going. Your responsibility in these troubled days is twofold – you are to warn, and you are to comfort. You are to warn both believers and unbelievers. For those believers who have fallen away and compromised with the world, you must warn that “I AM” coming soon and that they must repent and return lest they be ashamed at My coming. You must warn unbelievers of the coming judgment and that the time for repentance and coming to Me is drawing short. You must also comfort and encourage those faithful believers. Many are exhausted and anxious and need someone to come along side and lift them up. As I come along side you, you then come alongside them.

Isaiah 28-30

What God said to me – The world does not want to know the truth because to acknowledge the truth would be to acknowledge Me and their need of Me.  In their pride they believe they can solve the problems of the world on their own, in their own strength and intelligence.  They have no idea they have been deceived by the enemy and so they go farther and farther away from Me.  I have a standard that all will be measured by – righteousness is the level I use – My righteousness.  Even those who claim to know Me draw near with their words, but their hearts are far from Me.  You must learn to live and walk in the reality of My righteousness which I have accounted to you.  Measure all you say and do by that level – are you reflecting My righteousness – are you living up to My standard or the world’s?
