Isaiah 64-66

What God said to me – Like Isaiah, I know you yearn for Me to rend the heavens and come down.  Each day as you hear more and more of the perversity and degradation of men, I know that your desire for Me increases.  Out of all of history, I put you in this time for a reason.  More than ever the world needs intercessors – people who will stand in the gap and pray.  People who will stand firm and not waver even when all the world around them is crumbling.  The hope of your family, the hope of your nation, the hope of the world rests in My people who will humble themselves and pray and seek My face.  I will forestall My hand of judgment to give time for those who will, to come.  But I will not hold back forever – the window is closing.  You must be faithful.   You must intercede.  You must stand in the gap.

Isaiah 59-63

What God said to me – “I AM” always looking around for someone to intercede.  As astonishing as it seems given all who claim to be Mine, I rarely find anyone.  Most people are so focused on themselves and are so consumed with their own lives that they seldom truly turn to Me with more than just a tip of the hat.  They seldom pray for anything or anyone but themselves.  I desire people who are willing to stand in the gap and pray and plead for those around them to repent and turn to Me while there is still time.  I desire people who are willing to intercede for others as earnestly as they do for themselves.  I desire people who are willing to stand firm as watchmen on the wall warning of coming judgment.  I want My house to be a house of prayer and My people to be committed pray-ers.

Isaiah 54-58

What God said to me – Thus says the Lord, “Preserve justice and do righteousness for My salvation is about to come and My righteousness to be revealed.”  Do you believe it?  Do you live like this is true?  This is how I want My people to live their lives – like “I AM” about to come.  If you live like this, you will pray in a different way.  If you live like this, you will act in a different way.  If you live like this, you will not be ashamed at My coming.  If you live like this, others will see and be drawn to Me.  You must walk in a manner worthy of your calling every day – every moment.  It is not an easy thing to do because there are so many distractions.  That is why this time with Me is so important.  This is where you learn to stand and be steadfast.
