Jeremiah 18-22

What God said to me – In this evil age, standing with Me and for Me is not easy.  Look at My prophet Jeremiah.  He was beaten and persecuted and mocked and cast out.  The world has reached a place where not only does it not accept those who walk with Me, they reject them totally.  They are not satisfied with not believing or disagreeing, they have come to violently oppose any who are holy and follow Me.  They want to destroy all that is Mine so they are not confronted with their sin.  This time you live in is not easy and it takes determination to maintain your walk and not give in or just choose to keep silent.  This time with Me is becoming more and more necessary for you so you can stand and not waver.  Be diligent.  Be steadfast.  Cling to Me and My word.

Jeremiah 14-17

What God said to me – “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord.”  Do you see the subtle difference?  There are many who trust in Me for their salvation, but then live their own lives.  They give Me an occasional nod or turn to Me in desperation when things fall apart or a crisis hits.  Then there is the one who doesn’t just trust in Me – “I AM” his trust.  He depends on Me for everything knowing that “I AM” life.  He truly knows that health and wealth and circumstances can change, but “I AM” the same yesterday, today, and forever.  This is the one who is truly blessed – the one who’s trust is Me, not just in Me.  Which one are you?

Jeremiah 10-13

What God said to me – Judgment is coming but there are many who will be surprised by it.  They claim to know Me but their actions deny their claims.  “I AM” near to their lips but far from their hearts and minds.  They talk a good game justifying their sin by saying I made them that way.  They say that “I AM” a God of love who would never deny anyone acceptance or love or happiness.  They do not know Me or My word.  “I AM” holy and I demand holiness in My children.  I gave My own Son to make My children holy and righteous and acceptable to Me.  I know you – I see you – I will make you holy as you walk with Me.  Don’t just talk the talk – walk the walk.  This is how I transform your life.  This is how I sanctify you.  This is how the Spirit that is in you is working out your salvation in your life for all to see.
