Isaiah 23-27

What God said to me – “I AM” going to come out from My place and destroy the iniquity of the inhabitants of the world.  They do not see My hand lifted up because they think they can save themselves.  They think they know better than Me, but they have been deceived.  My people, however, have no need to fear because My judgment is for the world.  I will cover My people and keep them safe.  Just as the Israelites were secure in their homes with the blood covering the doorway, so you will be safe with My blood covering you.  There is coming a day when I will totally give them over to face the consequences of their choices, but you need not fear – you are safe in Me.

Isaiah 18-22

What God said to me – You look at societal and political turmoil in your nation and you grieve.  It is alright to grieve that so many have turned away from Me, but do not be overcome by your grief.  Don’t forget that “I AM” still in control and that I use all things to carry out My plan and accomplish My purpose.  Know that I use even the most ungodly leaders to do this.  When your focus is on Me you can have peace even when there is panic all around – even when the foundations of society are crumbling.  Your responsibility is to be diligent in your walk with Me and not waver.  Stand alert on the watchtower so you can give warning of the impending judgment so those who will heed the warning may be saved.

Isaiah 13-17

What God said to me – It is not your responsibility to turn your nation back to Me.  It is your responsibility to pray.  It is your responsibility to be a watchman on the wall and warn them of the consequences of their sin and of the coming judgment.  It is your responsibility to repent and be holy before Me.  It is your responsibility to be diligent in your walk and not forsake this time we have together.  I will do what I must do and you must trust Me.  “I AM” righteous and I never do anything that is apart from My character.  Whether you see judgment or revival, you can know that “I AM” in control and carrying out My plan.  No one can frustrate My stretched out hand or turn it back.  Just as I have intended, so it will happen and just as I have planned, so it will stand.
