2 Corinthians 5-9

What God said to me – When you belong to Me you must always walk in a manner worthy of your calling because the world is always watching and waiting for you to stumble so they have cause to discredit both you and Me.  When you sin, you must quickly repent and seek forgiveness from those offended or affected, whether it is just Me or others also.  It is not possible for you to never stumble or give offense, but when you quickly repent and seek forgiveness rather than self-righteously defending yourself your humility and desire to be right with Me and others will be a witness of your devotion to Me, of your love for them, and of My faithfulness to forgive and restore.

2 Corinthians 1-4

What God said to me – You spend so much of your time doing or worrying about things which are temporal – things which don’t last.  One of the things I teach you as you continue in your walk with Me is to change your focus from temporal things to eternal things.  When you learn to filter your day – the things you do – the things you think about or pray about – through the filter of temporal vs eternal – it will change the way you live.  There will always be temporal things you need to tend to daily but don’t let them become your focus.  Purposefully seek out those things that have an eternal impact – sharing My truth – praying for the lost – seeking Me moment by moment.  When you learn to live this way, you don’t just change your life, but you have an eternal impact on the lives of others.

1 Corinthians 15-16

What God said to me – In a world that is constantly changing – and not for the good – you must remain steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in My work.  I know it is difficult when things are going downhill so quickly.  You will become the target of the world for contempt.  Their hatred more and more will be directed toward those who are Mine.  It will be difficult for you to respond in love and with kindness.  It will be difficult to remain steadfast when it seems everyone is turning against you and against Me.  You must cling to Me even more and seek Me even more.  Never forget that in the twinkling of an eye “it will all be changed”.  Hope for that moment.  Cling to that hope.  “I AM” coming soon.
