Proverbs 16-18

What God said to me – Have you heard that time is fleeting so don’t waste it – it’s true even more so as the end approaches.  You’ve got to give more and more attention to My word and seeking Me.  I know you feel the urgency and sense that catastrophe is at hand for the world.  They are plunging headlong into darkness with no thought of Me or My will or My plans.  You must be a light in the darkness – a voice of reason amidst all the madness about you – a watchman on the wall warning of the impending judgment.  Commit your ways to Me.  Commit your heart and your mind so you can be used by Me to accomplish My purpose.

Proverbs 13-15

What God said to me – My eyes are in every place watching both the evil and the good.  I know everything that is happening both in the world and in your life.  Don’t think that because you are not seeing My hand that “I AM” not aware or that “I AM” not at work.  “I AM” always at work carrying out My plan and bringing it to fruition.  I see everything and know everything and when the time is right, you will see Me take action.  Don’t worry about all of the evil that is infiltrating society – Pray.  Pray for those around you.  Pray for those I bring to mind.  Be a witness and a watchman on the wall, sharing your faith and warning of the judgment that is coming.

Proverbs 10-12

What God said to me – “Whosoever loves discipline loves knowledge.”  When you say discipline you usually mean punishment, but when I say discipline, I mean training.  My people don’t know Me and don’t know My word because they lead undisciplined lives.  In order to gain knowledge – in order to know My word you must dedicate yourself to spending time in it.  You must cry out to Me as you do so I can give you understanding.  Don’t put this time off thinking you have more urgent or more important things to do.  This is one of the main reasons your life is so frantic and you feel like there is never enough time.  You put Me and My word last when I should be first.  If you took the time and disciplined yourself to be dedicated to My word, then I could show you those things that are truly important and help you to order your day.
