Judges 16:15-30
What God said to me – So many times you jump and run and you don’t even realize “I AM” not in what you are doing – you assume I’ll fix it all whenever you mess up. The consequences of sin are deadly – you must stay close to Me always and wait for Me to direct you. As long as you walk with Me and live for Me means that I will not put you to shame. Exalt Me in your body and exalt Me in your mind and you will experience My joy and peace.
Acts 16:25-34
What God said to me – You must always seek me – whether it is in the moment-by-moment circumstances of life or in the difficult trials or in the miraculous events that occur. Seek Me so you know how to respond. If Paul and Silas had not sought Me in the earthquake and assumed I meant it only as deliverance for them then they would have had a great story of salvation for themselves, but they would have missed Me and My plan to bring salvation to the jailer and his household. Seek Me always that I might be glorified in the world.
James 3:1-12
What God said to me – Apart from Me and My Spirit, the tongue cannot be controlled. You cannot do it and if you try you will only end up discouraged. Walk with Me moment by moment. Learn to pause and ask Me before you speak. That pause – that seeking Me is your surrender and My opportunity to show you a better way.
