John 19:17-37
What God said to me – My Son went to be crucified bearing His own cross because He knew it was My will – I didn’t have to force it on Him – He went willingly. This is how I want you to respond when I bring difficult things into your life – “carry the cross” – no matter how difficult that I might be glorified in your obedience.
Genesis 50:15-21
What God said to me – Your response to the “stuff” that happens in life shows where you truly are with Me. If you truly believe Me and trust me then no matter where you are in a situation – at the beginning, in the middle or at the end with the advantage of seeing how I worked – your response should be the same because “I AM” in control every step of the way.
Hosea 1-3
What God said to me – You are Mine – I chose you, not because of who you were or what you did, but because I love you and want you for My child. It is Me who comes after you when you stray. It is Me who does whatever is necessary to bring you to repentance. I don’t like having to discipline My children, but I do because they are Mine. Those I have chosen are Mine forever. I will not let you go – My love is forever.
