Revelation 1-2, Isaiah 56

What God said to me – Are you beginning to see what great things I have planned for those who are Mine.  My children are not just those true Israelites but they come from every tribe, every nation, every tongue.  They choose Me.  They join themselves to Me to worship Me and serve Me.  All are Mine who come to Me in repentance and love.  I turn none away.  The promises I gave Israel, I have extended to My other sheep.  My children are one and I make no distinction.  The time is coming when I will gather all who are Mine to Myself.  You are Mine.  I will give you an everlasting name.  I will give you the morning star.  “I AM” the morning start.  “I AM” yours and you are Mine.

Malachi 3-4, Isaiah 55

What God said to me – Listen to Me and eat what is good – My word is good – it is the Bread of Life.  My word convicts.  My word cleanses.  My word heals.  My word gives insight and direction.  I have laid out My plans in My word.  I do nothing without first revealing it to those who are Mine.  The problem is that My people have abandoned My word.  They do not read it or understand it.  They don’t study it to know Me.  Those who do are able to know Me in ways they never imagined.  They learn My character as they spend time with Me in My word.  I speak to them and transform them.  My word does not return void – it always accomplishes what I desire – even in you.

Malachi 1-2, Isaiah 54

What God said to me – Today is much like the days of Malachi where the people who say they are Mine disrespect Me and choose how they worship Me and how they live.  It is not Me they are worshipping, but themselves.  It is not Me they are living for, but themselves.  They make excuses for their behavior and say God would not reject anyone, yet they do not know Me or speak for Me.  What I call sin, they now say is acceptable because “times” have changed.  They disregard My word so they will not be convicted.  They excuse the sin of others so their own sin might be excused.  They profane My name by disregarding My word.  I have grown weary of their words – My justice will not wait much longer.
