Numbers 14-15

What God said to me – It is so easy for people to forget Me and stray from My ways – even My own people.  It only takes a moment to follow your own heart and your own eyes and to move away from Me.  If you can move away so easily, imagine how easy it is for those who don’t have a heart for Me or for My word.  You must always be diligent.  You must constantly be on guard.  Something can start so innocently – whether a book or  television show or a conversation – and before you know it, you have moved away and you make excuses for your actions.  Discipline yourself to be godly – to remain constant.  Keep My word ever before you – in your sight – in your heart – in your mind.  You must work at it constantly.  It is not easy.

Numbers 11-13

What God said to me – My calling is never easy.  The nature of people is to be greedy and self-indulgent and to complain at the slightest “inconvenience” or sacrifice.  They rarely acknowledge Me or seek Me out.  To be called to minister to those around you – people who are just like this – is a difficult calling.  It requires patience and a love you do not possess.  Know this – I will equip you and provide all you need to fulfill your calling.  I will give you a heart for those to whom I call you to minister to.  In order to be able to minister, you must seek Me constantly.  Pray without ceasing.  I will fill you with a love and patience you never thought possible.  I will give you a heart for people so you can minister to them on My behalf.  They will see Me in you.

Numbers 8-10

What God said to me – My children are always questioning what My will is when all they have to do is ask.  It is not something I hide from them – I want you to know My will.  Just as the children of Israel moved when My cloud moved and stopped when My cloud stopped, so I will direct you.  The key for you is to keep your eyes on Me.  Stay close to Me, constantly be in My word.  I have told you that whatever you pray in My will, I will do.  The problem is that My children are praying their will, not Mine so their prayers are unanswered.  You must learn to lay down your thoughts and desires and begin by asking Me how you should pray.  Only when I have revealed that to you can you pray according to My will.
