Ezekiel 20-23, Psalms 123

What God said to me – Lift up your eyes to Me and keep them there.  When you are looking at Me you can’t concentrate of the things of the world.  It’s not that you don’t see them, but your attention is on Me, so they are not important to you.  When you take your eyes off of Me, then those things become your focus.  When you begin to focus on those things is when you begin to move away from Me, and you fall away.  Keep your eyes on Me.  Spend time in My word allowing Me to speak to you and fellowship with you so that you will remain steadfast.

Ezekiel 16-19, Isaiah 39

What God said to me – You can’t be wholly devoted to Me while planning another way out in case I don’t “come through” for you.  You either depend on Me or you don’t.  When you are in need, come to Me.  Don’t try to fix it yourself or think it’s not important enough to bother Me.  Things related to you are not a bother.  I love it when you come to Me – when you seek My face.  Much of what I allow in your life is so you will come to Me so I can teach you that “I AM” dependable and trustworthy.  Always come to Me.

Ezekiel 12-15, Isaiah 38

What God said to me – If a country sins against Me by committing unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it.  I have given America many opportunities to repent, and yet they continue to go their own way.  They move farther and farther from Me.  They leave Me no choice but to punish them because they were Mine and now, they defame My name among the nations.  The vileness of the depravity to which they have turned leaves Me no choice.  I cannot turn My hand of judgment unless they repent.
