Genesis 46-47, Matthew 15:1-28, Psalms 19:1-4, Proverbs 4:14-19

What God said to me – Have you ever played the game ”Tell me you’re from Oklahoma without telling me you’re from Oklahoma” or “Tell me you’re a parent without telling me you’re a parent”?  It’s a silly game where you describe what you are without saying what you are.  “I AM” Almighty God – Creator of the universe and all that exists.  People can know that without ever hearing someone say it.  The heavens are telling of My glory, and their expanse  is declaring the work of My hands.  Without one word being spoken, people can know that “I AM” just by looking around at My creation.  Now what about you?  Can people know that you are My child just by the way you live?  Are you so godly in your walk that people know you are Mine?  Do you walk in holiness and kindness and love?  That’s not to say that you should never tell people about Me or witness verbally to them about who “I AM” and what I have done in your life, but if you are walking in a manner worthy of your calling, then people will know that you are different – your speech is different – your actions are different – your attitudes are different.  Does your life tell them that you are My child without you telling them you are My child?  It should.

Gensis 44-45, Matthew 14:13-36, Psalms 18:37-50, Proverbs 4:11-13

What God said to me – Never underestimate the power of My Spirit to work in My children and change their lives.  Those I call and I save, I save to the uttermost.  This sanctification in the lives of My children – this process of changing you into My image as you walk with Me in love and obedience is truly one of the confirmations of your salvation – you don’t remain the same person you were – you can’t!  Look at the life of Judah – he was the one who suggested  to his brothers that they sell Joseph.  He was selfish and jealous and unloving.  Now look at him years later when the brothers went to Egypt for food during the great famine – he offered himself as surety to Jacob for Benjamin’s safety – he plead with Jospeh to allow Benjamin to go free and to keep him as his slave instead.  Those who are Mine, I will not allow to stay the same because I love them and want them to have an abundant life of fellowship with Me.  Submit joyfully to this time with Me each day so I can work in your life and change you.

Genesis 42:18-43:34, Matthew 13:47-14:12, Psalms 18:16-36, Proverbs 4:7-10

What God said to me – Once you were born again and became My child, My intention for our relationship was that it become a life of fellowship and teaching and instruction as we walk together.  When you stumble, I desire for you to repent immediately so we can go on together with uninterrupted fellowship.  Don’t put off repentance because restoration is also delayed.  Look at Joseph’s brothers.  They went into Egypt for food during the great famine, but they hesitated to return for more because of their guilt and fear.  What awaited them was a banquet and forgiveness and restoration of their relationship with their brother, but it was all delayed because of their guilt and fear.  You need to learn from this story – when you sin, whether it’s an unkind word to someone or a major rebellion or falling away from Me, don’t delay returning as quickly as possible.  Your hesitation only hurts you.  Learn to repent immediately.  Make it a habit of your daily walk.  Cry out for forgiveness as soon as you sin.  Don’t hesitate – a banquet of restoration awaits.
