Jeremiah 5:1-9:26

What God said to me – Even today people do not know My requirements.  They have rejected My word because it is offensive to them.  People have Bibles laying around their homes, but they never open My word.  They have no heart for Me or the things I love and desire.  You must learn from this.  Listen to Me and pay attention. I don’t want lip service.  I want committed lives.  The world offers so many distractions to tempt the soul not wholly devoted to Me.  It’s so easy to say – “I’m tired” or “I desire this” or “there’s nothing really wrong with that”.  Before you realize it, you are going backward and not forward . . . you’ve moved away from Me and towards the world.  Be on guard.  Be diligent so you won’t be distracted.  Focus on Me.

Jeremiah 1:1-4:31

What God said to me – Stand up.  Stand up for Me and what is right and good and holy. Don’t be embarrassed or afraid for “I AM” with you.  Live out loud what I have done and am doing in your life.  “I AM” at work in you and I want you to share what “I AM” doing.  The world needs to know that “I AM” holy and that I can fill the emptiness in their lives.  My people need to be encouraged that they can walk with Me and hear from Me and please Me with their lives.  Tell them what “I AM” saying.  Tell them what “I AM” doing.  The time is short so don’t waste it.  Focus on what’s eternal.  Focus on what’s important.  “I AM” with you, don’t be afraid.

Isaiah 63:1-66:24

What God said to me – “I AM” your Father.  “I AM” your God.  I alone am Lord.  I act on behalf of those who come to Me for they are My children.  I sought after you when you did not know Me and called you to Myself because I loved you.  Never forget that I chose you for Myself – to be My child, not because of who you were, but because of who “I AM”.  I chose you and I delight in you so be glad and rejoice.  You can never come to Me too often for I long to speak to you and to hear your voice as you share your heart with Me.  I never tire of the one who looks to Me and depends on Me.  Come to Me in humbleness and contrition and you will hear My voice.  Don’t be afraid to approach Me with anything.  “I AM” your Father.
