Ezekiel 16-17

What God said to me – ““I AM” the Lord.  I have spoken and I will perform it.”  That’s all you need to know.  No matter what you see happening in the world around you – remember this truth.  Cling to this truth.  It will alleviate your fear and give you faith and peace.  Whether you are experiencing turmoil in the world, or in your family, or in your job – whatever it is – you can know that I have a plan that is for your good and My glory and I will perform it.  You just keep walking with Me – clinging to Me – listening to Me – obeying My instructions and you will see Me work and know that “I AM” accomplishing My purposes.  My peace which passes all understanding will fill your heart and mind.

Ezekiel 13-15

What God said to me – It is important who you listen to for there are many false prophets in the world today.  Unless you walk closely with Me and study my word continually, you won’t recognize them for what they are.  They appear to be knowledgeable and the things they say seem credible.  You must learn to listen to My Spirit in you.  When you feel that “tweak” in your spirit and feel like something is not quite right, but you can’t put your finger on it – sit up and take notice.  Be cautious.  My Spirit is your teacher and He will bring you into all truth.  He will not lead you astray.  Charismatic teachers and preachers are captivating so you need to learn to filter everything you hear through My Spirit and My word so you won’t be sucked in.

Ezekiel 9-12

What God said to me – People live their lives believing that if all the judgment in My word is true that it’s way out in the future so they can live as they want and when the time is closer, they can “straighten” out their lives.  Even My own people live like this.  One problem with this thinking is that I carry out My plans in My time – not yours.  You don’t know when judgment is about to fall and when it does, it’s too late for repentance.  You must live your life every moment to please Me and walk in a manner worthy of your calling.  The other issue with this false thinking is that people can’t “straighten” out their lives.  I alone can save.  I alone can change hearts.  Even those who are Mine can’t change themselves.  Your sanctification comes as My Spirit transforms you as you daily walk with me.  It is only as you walk in this manner that you can live in such a way that you won’t be ashamed at My coming.
