Psalms 74-77

What God said to me – There are times when it all seems too much – things are piling in and piling on.  You cry out but don’t feel like “I AM” hearing you.  These are the times you need to remember – remember all the times when I have been faithful – remember all the times I answered your prayers and worked on your behalf.  Meditate on these things and remember who “I AM”.  “I AM” faithful and true and I always hear you.  Don’t be distressed because you don’t “feel” like I heard you.  Know in faith that I have heard and if “I AM’ silent, it is for a reason.  Trust Me to work on your behalf for your good and My glory.  Continue to be faithful in doing the things you know to do.  I have prepared you for this moment – walk by faith and trust Me to work on your behalf.

Psalms 70-73

What God said to me – When you are disturbed by all that is going on in the world around you, come to Me in My sanctuary.  When you are dismayed by the prevalence of evil in society and righteousness being mocked and discarded, come to Me in My sanctuary.  “I AM” your very present help in time of need.  “I AM” your comforter and lifter of your head.  As you seek Me in My sanctuary you will gain perspective and I will calm your spirit and teach you how you should pray.  I will reveal Myself to you as you earnestly seek Me.  Take comfort knowing “I AM” on My throne and seated in My sanctuary.  When your flesh and heart fail “I AM” your strength and your portion forever.

Psalms 66-69

What God said to me – My eyes keep watch on the nations.  Nothing is happening in the world that “I AM” not using to fulfill My plan.  All the turmoil, all the evil – let it not discourage you.  Everything is coming to a head according to My plan.  You live your life with thanksgiving and praise so those you encounter see your faith and peace.  Your confident assurance that “I AM” in control will be a comfort to those of Mine who are afraid because their faith is not strong and it will be a witness to those who don’t know Me.  Some will mock you for trusting in a God they don’t believe exists, but some will come to faith.  No matter the response, you remain steadfast in your walk, and I will be pleased.
