Psalms 46-50

What God said to me – I don’t need sacrifices of cattle or goats or birds or money – everything belongs to Me already.  I don’t “need” anything, but one thing I desire is thanksgiving.  When you praise Me and give thanks you are acknowledging who “I AM” and that all you are and have are from Me because of My grace and mercy.  Your health, your intelligence, your abilities, your success are all because of My grace toward you.  You didn’t earn any of it or deserve any of it, but I gave.  All of these things, or lack of them are part of My plan for you to bring glory to Me and good to you.  Your part is to give thanks and seek Me and to order your ways accordingly.  I will walk with you and disclose Myself to you as you walk in faithfulness and seek Me.

Psalms 40-45

What God said to me – Does it surprise you that I think about you?  It shouldn’t for you are My child.  I know you better than you know yourself.  I know your rising up and your lying down.  I know your thoughts and dreams and desires.  I know the plans I have for you and I will do what is necessary to carry them out.  You can take comfort in this and it should give you peace knowing that you are Mine and I always have your best interests at heart.  This is why you should not be afraid or anxious.  “I AM” in control of the world and of your life.  Trust Me.  Rest in Me.  The more you walk with me and converse with Me, the greater assurance and peace you will have.  Don’t neglect this time.

Psalms 36-39

What God said to me – Rest in Me and wait patiently.  Time is drawing to a close.  Evil is increasing and will continue to do so until the end.  As you see evil doers delighting in their sin and bragging about their ungodly behavior and beliefs, take comfort that the time of My coming and judgment is drawing closer.  Don’t fret and worry – pray.  Pray that those who are waffling will come to Me.  Pray that those who are already Mine will be strong and remain faithful to the end.  Pray for My peace to fill your heart and mind.  Pray for My will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Know that I will never forsake you for you are Mine forever.  I take great delight in your faithfulness, and you should take great delight in Mine.
