Psalms 26-31

What God said to me – Just as I sat as King at the flood, I sit as King now.  You look around you at all that is happening, both in your life and in the world, and wonder where it is all leading.  Things may be falling apart around you and the world may seem to be self-destructing, but don’t be concerned or afraid.  I sit as King and “I AM” in control.  Things are not falling apart – they are falling into place.  The natural evolution of a sinful world is destruction.  Apart from Me, things will never get better and people for the most part have not chosen Me.  They are reaping what they have sown and they will continue to do so until the time I set has been fulfilled and I intervene and set up My kingdom.  I know you long for that day.  Remain faithful for that day is coming.

Psalms 21-25

What God said to me – All of my paths are lovingkindness and truth to those who are following Me.  Does that mean you will never encounter anything bad or difficult?  Absolutely not!  What it does mean is that whatever circumstance you find yourself in, you can be assured that if I led you there, it is where I want you.  In My lovingkindness I lead you to and through difficult circumstances because I know that it is best for you. I love you enough to do what is necessary to conform you to My image.  Your part is to submit and trust Me to be faithful to do what I say.  However, too many times you find yourself in difficult circumstances, not because I led you, but because you went off on your own.  This is when you need to repent and turn back to Me and learn from the consequences of your disobedience. “I AM” always faithful to forgive and restore.

Psalms 17-20

What God said to me – “I AM” your shield and your rock and your fortress and your deliverer.  You don’t need to depend on anyone but Me – not even yourself.  That doesn’t mean you should sit back and do nothing.  It means you should walk with Me day by day as I direct you and trust in Me to lead you where you should go.  When you live in this way, you can know with certainty everything you encounter has been planned by Me.  You can be assured that even when something disruptive or bad happens that I will guide you through.  As you go through each circumstance following Me and responding as I direct you will grow stronger and more mature, and our relationship will deepen.
