Job 38-39

What God said to me – I made you who you are and put you where you are for a reason.  You may not always understand, but you can always trust Me if you choose – for it is a choice.  Each day choose who you will serve – is it Me or yourself?  Each day choose who you trust – is it Me or yourself?  Your choice is the basis for peace in your heart or frustration and unrest.  Use the trials and difficulties as the impetus to turn to Me – to seek Me.  Use the praises and blessings as the impetus to turn to Me – to seek Me.  This is how I want you to walk with Me.  No matter what happens in your life, good or bad, turn to Me.  This is what a lifelong conversation is about – sharing all with Me, seeking Me in everything, and trusting Me to accomplish My will and My plan.

Job 35-37

What God said to me – Good and bad, blessings and evil, light and darkness – you will experience some of all of it in your life.  The question is – how will you respond?  Will your experiences drive you to Me or away from Me?  For some when they experience trials it drives them to their knees crying out to Me, but for others it drives them away from Me for allowing it to happen.  For some when they experience blessing it causes them to turn to Me with gratitude and praise, but for others they turn away from Me because they don’t feel like they need Me then.  Which one are you?  You must determine that no matter the circumstance you encounter “good” or “bad” that you will always turn to Me, share with Me your praises as well as your fears or frustrations.  In the good times rejoice but use these times of respite to dig deeper so you’ll be prepared no matter what happens.  Strive to deepen our relationship.

Job 32-34

What God said to me – People are quick to give their opinion about any and everything – what is right or what is wrong – what to do or what not to do – why something is happening or why something is not happening.  But very few actually turn to Me to ask My opinion and Mine is the one that matters.  It is good to seek counsel but you need to remember the limitations of human counsel, even from wise godly counselors.  They do not know all or see all or understand all like I do.  They see situations from a limited, temporal perspective and I see from the beginning to the end.  They can intentionally or unintentionally mislead you, but I never will.  I have a vested interest in your wellbeing and success because I gave everything for you.  My counsel and instructions are for your good and My glory.  Your faithfulness and steadfastness are a witness to the world of My faithfulness and steadfastness.
