Psalms 58-65

What God said to me – Where do you run when you are hurting or in trouble?  For that matter, where do you run when you are happy or have good news?  The answer to these questions reveals your heart.  If “I AM” truly your rock and your salvation, your refuge and present help in time of trouble, your first stop will always be to me – not friends – not family.  Just because I know all doesn’t mean I don’t want to hear it from you.  Your praises and expressions of gratitude are blessings to Me.  I love to hear your responses in happy times.  Your hurts and cries for help always reach Me.  “I AM” always here for comfort and direction.  You are important to Me, and I long to be of help and guidance when you need Me.  You are My child and I’ll never forsake you.

Psalms 51-57

What God said to me – Purity cannot only be outward or else it is just for show.  I desire truth in your innermost being.  This is not something you can do – I must do it in you.  “I AM” the one who makes clean.  Your part is to commit yourself to Me and be willing to obey and repent.  Let Me be the one who searches your heart and mind.  You can’t know or understand the depths sin has reached and the hold it has on you.  It is so easy to fall into the flesh, especially in your mind.  If you truly desire to walk in the Spirit, you must renew your mind daily and be washed in the water of the word.  As you do, I will create a clean heart and mind within you and renew a steadfast spirit within you so you can walk faithfully.

Psalms 46-50

What God said to me – I don’t need sacrifices of cattle or goats or birds or money – everything belongs to Me already.  I don’t “need” anything, but one thing I desire is thanksgiving.  When you praise Me and give thanks you are acknowledging who “I AM” and that all you are and have are from Me because of My grace and mercy.  Your health, your intelligence, your abilities, your success are all because of My grace toward you.  You didn’t earn any of it or deserve any of it, but I gave.  All of these things, or lack of them are part of My plan for you to bring glory to Me and good to you.  Your part is to give thanks and seek Me and to order your ways accordingly.  I will walk with you and disclose Myself to you as you walk in faithfulness and seek Me.
