1 Chronicles 12-14

What God said to me – I said of the sons of Issachar “they were men who understood the times”.  Do you want to understand the times you are living in and the chaos and disruption all around?  Then look to Me.  Walk with Me.  I hold the future in My hand and I have a plan that “I AM” carrying out.  I do nothing without showing those who seek Me out.  You will find peace in the midst of war and violence.  You will find hope when it seems the whole world has turned upside down.  “I AM” judging the world.  Don’t spend time worrying about what is happening or what is to come.  Stay in My word.  Be faithful to share with those I bring to you.  I will show you Myself at work in these situations and I will give you peace.

1 Chronicles 9-11

What God said to me – Saul was killed in a battle against the Philistines because of his sin against Me and I turned the kingdom over to David who I chose to be king.  David became greater and greater because I was with him.  I know you wonder why I allowed Saul, sinful as he was, to remain king for so long when I had chosen David, a man after My own heart, to suffer and struggle for years.  Never forget that My timing is always perfect.  During those times I built character and faith in David and prepared him to lead.  During that time, I extended mercy to those who would repent and used those who wouldn’t repent to accomplish My purpose.  It is the same today.  Do not despair when you see evil prospering and sin prevailing.  “I AM” at work.  Spend time with Me and let Me prepare you and grow you.  Watch Me accomplish My purpose.

1 Chronicles 7-8

What God said to me – Life is fleeting.  Seldom does anyone make a mark in the world that is remembered past their lifetime.  Look at the long list of names in the genealogies.  Very few are remembered, even by the most ardent historians.  So why are their names listed here?  Because I know their name just as I know your name. I know them just as I know you.  You would be thrilled if someone in a high position called you by name and asked about you and your family.  Do you understand what it means that “I AM” knows your name – that “I AM” cares about you and your family and all that concerns you?  You are My child and I know and care about every detail of your life.  Come to Me with your joys and sorrows, the good and the bad, the successes and the failures.  I already know, but I long for you to trust Me enough and love Me enough to share them with Me.
