1 Chronicles 18-21

What God said to me – It’s easy to fall into sin when you are not where you ought to be.  In the spring when kings go out to battle, David stayed in Jerusalem.  It was then that he fell into grievous sin.  If David, a man after Mine own heart, could fall so fast and so far, take heed.  It can happen to you also if you are not where I want you to be and doing what I want you to do.  That is why you must bind your heart to Me and purpose to walk with Me each moment.  It takes diligence to remain steadfast.  It takes a close relationship with Me to remain faithful.  Never take it for granted that you will automatically do the right thing.  Never even assume that you know what the right thing to do is – seek My direction continually and I will not let you stray.

1 Chronicles 15-17

What God said to me – There were those who were chosen, who were designated by name to give thanks to Me because My mercy lasts forever.  They were My priests and they served Me and worshipped Me continually.  My children are priests to Me today, chosen and designated by name.  Do you have any idea what that means – to be chosen by Me – to be called by name to serve Me?  That alone is reason to worship Me and give thanks.  I know you by name.  I care about every detail of your life.  I have a plan for you.  That alone should cause you to overflow with gratitude and worship.

1 Chronicles 12-14

What God said to me – I said of the sons of Issachar “they were men who understood the times”.  Do you want to understand the times you are living in and the chaos and disruption all around?  Then look to Me.  Walk with Me.  I hold the future in My hand and I have a plan that “I AM” carrying out.  I do nothing without showing those who seek Me out.  You will find peace in the midst of war and violence.  You will find hope when it seems the whole world has turned upside down.  “I AM” judging the world.  Don’t spend time worrying about what is happening or what is to come.  Stay in My word.  Be faithful to share with those I bring to you.  I will show you Myself at work in these situations and I will give you peace.
