2 Kings 6-8

What God said to me – As you walk through life so much happens – good and bad – minor inconveniences and major disasters.  You must learn to face each thing with the same hope, the same faith, and the same trust in Me.  “I AM” sovereign and no “good” thing or “bad” thing happens to you that has not gone through Me first.  I have a plan that “I AM” carrying out in your life and a great part of it is transforming you into My image. I use all things, “good” and “bad” to accomplish My purpose in you.  You must learn to respond the same way no matter what you encounter.  Look to Me – Trust Me – Thank Me – no matter what the circumstances.  I use all things for good – to transform you – to grow you to maturity.

2 Kings 4-5

What God said to me – You don’t have to be well educated or in a position of prominence to be used by Me to reach others – you just need to be available and obedient. I used a faithful little girl to change the life of Naaman a captain of the army of Aram. I used his servants who were bold enough to speak when he rejected My instructions. Naaman was changed forever because of the faithfulness of a little girl and some lowly servants. How are you doing? Do you speak up and testify of My faithfulness regardless of your audience? Or do you temper your conversation so as not to draw ridicule or offend? Your walk with Me and your faith should be an integral part of your life and conversation with those you encounter. Walk with Me. Talk with Me. Talk about Me.

2 Kings 1-3

What God said to me – Your relationship with Me is important, not just to you, but to those you encounter.  You have no idea how your influence affects others or how My protection and guidance of you is extended to those around you.  When Jehoshaphat sought My guidance through the Elisha the prophet, Elisha made it clear he was responding based on Jehoshaphat’s relationship with Me and not the ungodly king of Israel.  Jehoram, the king of Israel, was the beneficiary of Jehoshaphat’s godliness and relationship with Me.  In the same way, your walk with Me is not just a witness to those around you, many times they are the recipients of blessing just because they are close to you.  Therefore, you must be diligent to maintain your walk and witness in order to maintain your influence and witness to those around you.  As you lift Me up, some will come.  Be faithful.
