Nehemiah 10-11

What God said to me – When My people are wholly committed to Me, they affect the world around them.  That has always been My plan for My people – to be a witness to the world of My faithfulness as they walk with Me and I bless them.  When they see the joy and peace in the lives of My children that comes from walking faithfully with Me, they long for it.  There is no peace or joy in their lives so when they actually see it in your life, they are drawn to it.  The world is in constant chaos and it is only going to get worse in the last days.  There are those who will ridicule your walk with Me because it is a constant conviction of their sin, but there will be a few yet who will come, wanting what you have.  You be a faithful witness to these.

Nehemiah 8-9

What God said to me – Just like the Israelites you live in a nation where this generation has long forgotten all I have done in the past.  They have forsaken Me.  Not only do they not care, they abhor Me and My righteousness.  They openly flout their sin with no remorse or conscience.  Just as I judged Israel, I will judge them.  You must remain steadfast.  You must remain pure in the midst of an evil generation.  You must stand firm proclaiming the truth of My word and righteousness even knowing few will be convinced or change.  Don’t be disheartened though.  My joy is your strength.  Find joy in your faithfulness.  Find joy in pleasing Me.  Find joy in knowing “I AM” accomplishing My purposes and My plans are being fulfilled.  Find joy – “I AM” coming soon!

Nehemiah 7

What God said to me – Look at the thousands of Hebrews who returned to Israel after seventy years of captivity in Babylon.  Such a thing had never happened before and yet it did because of My plan for Israel.  I always do what I say and My word is always fulfilled.  As you look around at the chaos in the world today, be at peace for “I AM” still in control.  You see Israel has once again returned to the land according to My word.  “I AM” carrying out My plan.  Watch in awe as every part of it is fulfilled.  Just as the heavens speak of My glory, the fulfillment of prophecy speaks of My sovereignty.  Those who think they are in control will soon come to naught.  Evil will only prevail for a time and then My wrath and judgment will destroy it.
