2 Chronicles 32-34

What God said to me – Before I sent Babylon to judge My people and punish them for their sin and unfaithfulness, I gave them King Josiah who would turn to Me and My word and renew My covenant with My people.  This did not stop the great trials they were to face but it prepared them to face this tribulation with faith and hope.  In the same way when you are in times of relative peace you must spend it in My word and seeking Me.  It is in these quiet times that I prepare you to face the turmoil that will surely come.  Don’t waste this time or grow slack because you don’t feel the urgency to seek Me.  Come often and eagerly to learn from Me.  Let Me teach you and instill My truth in your heart and mind so you are able to stand firm during trials.

2 Chronicles 29-31

What God said to me – Every work Hezekiah began he sought Me and he did it with all of his heart.  That is what I want from all of My children – whether you are serving in the church or working at your job or cleaning your house – whatever you do – seek Me and do it with all of your heart.  My people should be the most industrious, diligent, and faithful people in order to show the world whom you serve.  As you work in such a way, you reflect Me to the world.  Slothfulness and laziness should not be seen among My children because you should do everything you do as if you are doing it to Me and for Me.  Your diligence and work ethic are a reflection on Me.  What does the world see as they watch you work?  Does your life reflect the God you say you serve?

2 Chronicles 25-27

What God said to me – Amaziah “did right in the sight of the Lord yet not with a whole heart.”  That statement describes so much of My church today.  Very few people serve Me wholeheartedly.  They follow Me and speak about Me and obey Me when its convenient for them or when they agree with Me, but there’s always something they hold back – a part of their heart that they keep for themselves and won’t commit fully to Me.  What about you?  Are you all in?  Are you fully and wholeheartedly committed to Me no matter what the cost?  The only way for you to be wholehearted is for you to allow Me to work in you because only I can make a divided heart whole.  As you walk with Me moment by moment and stay in My word day by day, I will transform your heart and mind.
