2 Chronicles 21-24

What God said to me – When it was time for Joash to become king of Judah, Jehoida, the priest, told the Levites to arm themselves and surround the king.  What a picture this is of what the church should be – surrounding Me and armed with My word, the sword of the Spirit.  Are you armed with the sword of the Spirit?  How accurately can you handle My word?  Have you hidden enough of it in your heart for Me to bring it to mind when you’re in the midst of a battle?  In order to be an effective warrior, you must spend much time in My word, allowing Me to teach you so you are able to be an effective witness and stand firm.  You are to be a warrior priest, able to stand and fight using My word and My Spirit to direct you.

2 Chronicles 18-20

What God said to me – It’s easy to stand and speak for Me when you are in a crowd of other believers because they will agree and encourage you.  It is not so easy to stand in a crowd of non-believers and speak up for Me when what you have to say is against their beliefs or lifestyle.  It takes courage and faith to stand and speak when you know what you have to say is not what they want to hear.  You will be ridiculed and maligned in the worst ways.  You will be called a zealot and a bigot.  You must learn to take courage and stand.  Your reward and blessing does not come from the world, but from Me.  Your walk with Me is what will enable you to stand firm.  I will give you strength.  I will give you the words to speak.  Stay close to Me for it is these times I use to prepare you.

2 Chronicles 13-17

What God said to me – If you seek Me, I will let you find Me.  I never hide Myself from those who honestly seek Me.  I love to support those whose heart is completely Mine.  Examine yourself often.  Do you look to Me to meet your needs or do you look to your own resources?  Do you look to Me in times of trouble or do you seek out others for help?  Trusting Me – depending on Me is not a one-time thing.  It is a day to day, moment by moment thing.  It’s very easy when you had some success or seen some deliverance to become complacent or to depend on something other than Me.  You must be diligent to maintain our relationship.  “I AM” always here waiting for you but are you always there waiting for Me?
